H.Y.B.R.I.D. - heating the future

The excellent connection for maximum efficiency
KÜBLER hall heating systems

The best efficiency technologies combined

What do you get when KÜBLER combines its best efficiency technologies into a fully integrated overall system? The answer: The first H.Y.B.R.I.D. system in the history of hall heating. Almost unsurpassed high savings values. And Germany's most sustainable product in 2012 - awarded the German Sustainability Award.

These values are convincing - wherever sustainable thinking counts

H.Y.B.R.I.D. uses the residual heat from hall heating systems. Up to 15 % of extra energy can be recovered in this way. For example, for the hot water-based heating of adjacent office buildings. Or for hot service water. At virtually no additional cost. The efficiency of the overall system increases to a combustion efficiency of up to 108 %.

The H.Y.B.R.I.D. system from KÜBLER is not only economically interesting for new installations. Designed as a module, the O.P.U.S. X heat exchanger can be integrated into existing infrared heating systems as required.

108 percent - how can you achieve so much?

The answer: KÜBLER's highly efficient H.Y.B.R.I.D. system. With our MAXIMA high-end infrared appliances, up to 80 % of the energy used from the fuel (based on the calorific value, Hi) is transferred directly to the working area as infrared heat. From the energy remaining in the flue gas, up to a further 15 % of energy is made available for office heating, domestic hot water, hot air for other zones and many other applications by means of a flue gas/water heat exchanger system. Thanks to the condensing technology, this also contains large amounts of hidden energy (latent energy), which is bound in the flue gas in the form of water vapor. This intelligent overall system, together with the direct waste heat of the overall system (approx. 13 % convection heat), makes it possible to keep up to 108 % (80 % IR + 15 % hot water + 13 % convection heat) of the fuel energy introduced in the building envelope. 95 % of the energy (80 % IR + 15 % hot water) is conducted directly to where it is actually needed. Into the working area.

By the wayThanks to our intelligent CELESTRA control and regulation system, energy savings of 20 % are already possible "a priori" without any gas particles passing through the pipe.

One system - many possibilities

H.Y.B.R.I.D. integrates infrared heating, residual heat utilization and digital control. And offers a wide range of other possible combinations. The combination of solar thermal modules and heat pumps, for example. Or the integration of residual heat from production processes through to the merging of heat flows from different production areas.

The German Sustainability Award

The German Sustainability Award has been presented since 2008 by the German Sustainability Award Foundation in partnership with the German Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) and the German government and has become one of the most prestigious awards of its kind in Europe. It recognizes municipalities, research institutions and companies that are particularly successful in meeting ecological and social challenges with their achievements, products and services. And use sustainability as an economic opportunity. The award for the most sustainable product went to KÜBLER in 2012.

The Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Award

KÜBLER has been awarded the coveted Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Prize for the second time. In 2012 for its innovative H.Y.B.R.I.D. hall heating system. The state's Ministry of Economic Affairs, Climate Protection, Energy and Regional Planning, together with the working groups of the Rhineland-Palatinate Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the Chambers of Crafts, honors particularly innovative companies with the Innovation Award. This is the 25th time that the Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Award has been presented, making it one of the oldest innovation awards in Germany.
