Heating innovations for the energy transition. For halls.

The German government wants 65% renewable energy from 2024. "It can have it," says Thomas Kübler. At ISH 2023, the hall heating specialist from Ludwigshafen, KÜBLER GmbH, will be presenting its latest development: the global innovation FUTURA. Kübler: "FUTURA is our solution for the energy transition and thus for a successful path to CO2-free time."
Already recognized as an "Innovative Technology for Climate Protection "*, the company known for its energy-saving technology is initiating a paradigm shift in hall heating. Kübler: "Up to now, energy efficiency has been the focus of our developments. FUTURA now combines the highly efficient use of resources with the use of various regenerative energy sources".
FUTURA is therefore called a "multi-energy infrared system". The system can be operated with green electricity as well as green hydrogen or biogas. But the multivalent heating system can also use gas. "We need this option as a bridge to the carbon-free era and to balance out volatile renewable energies," says Kübler. Depending on the availability or cost of renewable energies, it is possible to switch back and forth between the energy sources.
Green heating is highly economical for industry, commerce and local authorities. With up to 70 % less consumption, both sides benefit: the companies and the environment.

- The renovation project Since 1994, the halls at the main site in Neuss have been heated with a central hot air system using a gas-powered hot water boiler system, which resulted in high energy costs. In order to achieve the company's own ambitious climate targets and increase efficiency, it was decided in 2021 to convert to a modern, decentralized heating system. In collaboration with the engineering firm Enviconsult, a heat demand analysis was carried out and [...]
- The company had set the highest energy efficiency standards for its new building. Initially, the new production building was to be heated by a combination of heat pump and underfloor heating, but this proved to be less functional in hall buildings. The decision was made to use the completely new energy-flexible infrared system FUTURA from KÜBLER - as a pilot project. "With many of our projects, we ourselves are entering [...]

- Ludwigshafen, August 2020 | Decentralized infrared radiant heating systems are the technology of choice in tall buildings with ceiling heights of over 4 meters. Here, they are often functionally superior to alternative heating systems. Their efficiency is so high that they have been able to exceed climate protection requirements for years, even without the integration of renewable energies. They also offer clear advantages in terms of investment costs, as studies have shown. With the entry into force of the GEG, high-efficiency technologies such as decentralized infrared heating systems are finally finding their way into legislation.
