Efficiency first is also the focus of politics - DENEFF's JAK 2024

Rarely have the red, green and black parties been so united in their goal and so different in their approach: energy efficiency is and remains the first important step on the road to climate neutrality. When it comes to indoor buildings, so-called non-residential buildings, this is also reflected in the "Heating Act" (GEG):

If highly efficient hall heating systems such as the infrared systems from KÜBLER are newly installed, the primary energy savings achieved are equated with the use of 65 percent renewable energy if they amount to at least 40 percent. No wonder, because CO₂ emissions don't really care how they are saved - through energy efficiency or substitution. The only difference is that efficiency measures are usually much quicker and easier to implement and generally save a lot of money.

On the podium of the annual conference - JAK for short - of the German Business Initiative for Energy Efficiency, three high-level federal politicians took a stand on the question: "Is energy efficiency policy on target?": Emily Büning (Political Director, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen), Andreas Jung (Deputy Chairman of the CDU and the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag, MP) and Kevin Kühnert (SPD General Secretary, MP).

DENEFF had also organized further events under the motto "The new efficiency class. Faster. Better. Go!" on two levels at the Malzfabrik Berlin-Schöneberg, a top-class and exciting program was put together.

Opened by DENEFF Chairman of the Board Carsten Müller, Member of the Bundestag, and expertly moderated by Henning Ellermann (Managing Director, DENEFF) Tanja Loitz (Deputy Chairwoman of the Board, DENEFF) and Christian Noll (Managing Director, DENEFF), the event covered a wide range of topics such as the 1×1 of scaling, EU energy policy after the election, subsidies under BEG, EEW, CCFD & Co, building refurbishment, AI and much more.

Our conclusion: A professional event with a high information content. Thanks to the DENEFF event team. The topic of energy efficiency in Germany needs more of these!
